NEET 2018: Application Correction, Admit Card, Exam Pattern, Syllabus
NEET 2018 Application Form Correction has been started from 15th March 2018. It is the national level examination for admission to MBBS & BDS courses. CBSE is the conducting authority which organizes the NEET examination every year in various cities across the country. NEET exam is the only gateway for admissions into medical & dental UG courses offered by various government and private medical colleges of the country. All medical institutions consider NEET score for providing admission in MBBS/BDS courses. - According to the NEET 2018 official website, NEET 2018 Application Form can be filled till 12th March 2018. The submission date of Application Form has been extended from 9th March 2018 to 12th March 2018 till 5:00 p.m.
- Candidate must note that Aadhaar Card is not mandatory to apply for NEET 2018 examination. Candidate can now apply on the basis of identity proof i.e. Aadhaar Card, Aadhaar Enrollment Number, Voter ID issued by the government of India, Ration Card and Passport.
- NEET 2018 Application Correction (one time correction facility) will begin from 15th March 2018 till 17thMarch 2018.
- Now NEET examination is made compulsory for undergraduate Veterinary Sciences & Animal Husbandry Courses.
- NEET examination is made compulsory for admission into AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy) Courses for the academic year 2018-19: Check Here
- Candidates from reserved categories (PWD Candidates) reservation has been increased to 5% from 3% : Check Here
- As per the official website, NEET UG 2018 syllabus is exactly same as it was for the previous year. No changes have been made in the syllabus: Check Here
- Students applying for foreign medical universities must appear for NEET 2018 examination and must now qualify the NEET exam to be eligible for admission.
NEET 2018 Changes Introduced (New)
- Now Aadhaar Card is not mandatory to fill NEET exam Application Form.
- There will be no limit on number of attempts for the NEET examination.
- CBSE has introduced Urdu as a optional language for students appearing for NEET 2018 examination.
- Two new states Andhra Pradesh and Telangana will now participate in the All India Quota Counselling (15%). Now these states no longer need to submit a self declaration form.
- Candidates from J & K still have to submit the self declaration form to participate in All India Quota Counselling (15%).
- As per the officials the exam will be conducted in bilingual (except language chosen in English)

Neet 2018 Eligibility Criteria
Applicants applying for the NEET 2018 examination must fulfill the Eligibility Criteria assigned by the CBSE board. Candidates are advised here that before going to apply for NEET 2018, must check the eligibility criteria prescribed by the competent authority. Based on available information and facts, the following information is gathered:
Sharing you the Eligibility criteria:-
- The applicant should have an Indian nationality or OCI i.e. Overseas Citizen of India.
- He or she must have an age within 17 to 25 years as on 31st December of the admission year.
- Also, for reserved applicants, can have a maximum age limit of 30 years.
- For qualifying, he should have 12th standard examination certificate or equivalent examination from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology & Mathematics.
- Either he or she should have any other elective subjects with English
- To be eligible for this criteria, he or she should have a minimum 50% in PCB group [40% for SC/ST/OBC and 45% for General PH]
NEET 2018 Application Fee Charges
The application charges depend on two different categories:
- For SC/ST/PH- Rs 550/- [Rs 1550/- with late fee]
- For General/OBC- Rs 1000/- [Rs 2000/- with late]
NEET 2018 Syllabus PDF Download
NEET Syllabus completely based on of 10+1 and 10+2 exam subjects. The syllabus is made with the guidance of Medical Council of India, CBSE has prepared the uniform syllabus.
